History of Aquatics Canada

Aquatics Canada, formerly The Aquatic Federation of Canada, was founded in 1968 by a group of Aquatic visionaries who decided that the earnings from a Standard Brands Publicity Campaign were to be kept in a safe place. These Founders established the AFC Federation and gave ownership to Synchro, Diving, Water Polo and Swimming.  Aquatics Canada has withstood the test of time, having triumphed in two cases of attempt to dismantle by court.

We are fortunate that a group of individuals who founded the AFC Foundation having invested about $200,000 in 1968, have been able to distribute well over $600,000 worth of monies to our cause.
